- Is the PDF download really free?
- Yes. There is no trial, no account, no card, and no watermark. The Download button gives you the finished PDF. The site is paid for by ads on the surrounding pages, not by charging you at the last step.
- Do I have to create an account?
- No. Your draft is saved in your own browser using local storage, so it is still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, which also means we could not read your resume even if we wanted to.
- Will the PDF pass an applicant tracking system?
- The export is a text-based PDF using standard PDF fonts, in a single column, with no tables, text boxes, images or icon fonts. Those are the four things that most often garble a parse. Many builders export a rasterised image that looks fine to you and is invisible to a parser — this one does not.
- What happens if I clear my browser data?
- The draft is gone, because it only ever existed on your device. Use Export backup in the builder to save a JSON file you can re-import later or move to another computer.
- Can I use this for a CV or an academic application?
